PLANNING
It is the basic function of Management . planning in dedicating in advance – what to do when to do how to do.it brings gap from where we are and where we want to be a planning is a future course of action it is an exercise decision making and problem solving planning is detomidine of course of action to achieve desired goals. Thus, planning is a systematic thinking about ways and means of accomplishment of pre determined goals. planning is necessary to ensure proper utilization of human and non-human resources it also helps in avoiding confusion, risk, wastage etc. Budgeting planning involves the following steps 1) Determination of objective ,2) forecasting,3) Formulation of policies and programmer ,5) Preparation of schedules
Planning is a process of seeking answer of some of the following questions
1 what is to be done ?
2. why is to be done
3. how the work to be done
4. who will do the work?
5.when to work will be done ?
6. were the work to be done ?
planning is necessary al, the levels of organization
planning can be long term, midterm and it can be short term.
2.ORGANIZING
It is the process of the beginning together physical Financial and human resource and developing productive relationship amongst them for achievement of organization goal . to organize a business involves determining and providing human resources to the  organization
1)Identification of activities 2.) classification of grouping of activities 3) Assignment of duties.4) Delegation of authority and creation of Responsibilities .5)Coordination authority of responsibility and relation ship.
3.Staffing
Staffing has assumed greater importance in the resent yeas due to advancement of technology increase in size of business ,complexity of human behavior etc . the main purpose of staffing is to put right person on the right job .
- Manpower planning (estimating man power is terms of searching ,choose the person and give the right place
- recruitment, selection and placement.
- Â Trainning and developement ,
- performance and appraisal,
promotion& transfer etc.
4.DIRECTING
Directing is the interpersonal aspect of management which deals directly with guiding,supervizing,and motivating for the achievment of the organization goal.
5.CONTROLLING
The purpose of controlling is to ensure that everything occurs in conformities with the standard.
therefore controlling has some steeps are 1. corrective action 2. establishment of standard performance 3.Measurment of actual performance etc.
